I`m not the best speller in the world and I haven`t won any spelling bee`s lately, but some of the spelling on this site is atrocious.
Believe you me, I would not be elected to the grammar police, and am just raising this question without naming names and it is asked in jest.
The spelling of "definitely" certainly has to be in the top 5 mispelled words on this site. People, it is not "definately"!!
Any more mispellings that others can think of?

What gets me above all else is when someone misspells a coaches name. How am I supposed to take you seriously, on a football message board nonetheless, when you can't even spell the name of a coach correctly? It's Kiffin not Kiffen, Saban not Sabin, Meyer not Mayer. What's the point of even coming on this site and writing about football, when it's obvious you can't do either?

All of those already mentioned get my dander up. It really is a shame that people don't take better care in reading what they've typed or take the time to open a dictionary.
The one that MOST bothers me though is when folks substitute "of" for "have." For example:
"He could of run the other way." WRONG!!
"He could have run the other way." CORRECT!!!
That one is my biggest irritation.

I'll admit that I have made some of the mistakes listed above, even though I know better. Sometimes my hands just type the word wrong when I actually know the correct word/spelling.
One example of misuse that makes me smile is when someone uses since when they meant to use sense.

Same as "should of" or "would of"! But then again we as southerners, would say "shouldah, couldah, wouldah" !
