Picture of Jammer
For what it's worth on an "off" week.
My son and daughter-in-law have a white cocker/poo puppy that they named Jammer. (Need I explain)? Somewhere along the way when he was about four months old, they took a picture of him asleep on a table with his head on the arm of the chair next to the table, and his front paws hanging down in between the table and chair. For those of you who live in the Birmingham area on Channel 42 Mark Prater asks people to e-mail him pictures to show on his weather shows. Mostly people send in weather type pics - storms, tornado funnels, lightening, pretty sunsets, etc. but occasionally he shows a pic of an animal. Soooooo a week or so ago I sent in the picture of Jammer. If I'd had my way, I would like to have seen it last Saturday after the Alabama/Tennessee game. However, I received an e-mail this morning from Channel 42 telling me this: So for those of you in B'ham - look for it if you have time. Arf...arf... ************************************************** **** It looks like your picture will air on Friday in all shows, but because the meteorologists sometimes pick the pictures at random there is no way to guarantee that. I just don't know how to do that Bayou.
Anyway, Jammer made his TV debut this past Friday night on the 10:00 PM news, but if I'd blinked, I'd have missed it. I was very disappointed. Mark Prater, one of the weathermen, usually has something to say about the picture that he shows - like...that's a pretty sunset, or look at that lightening, but he said nada, AND went and stood right in front of the pic. Then after a few seconds he moved aside to the left of the pic, but then it got smaller and disappeared. The only thing I can figure is that he is an Auburn fan. So - to Mark Prater - ROLL TIDE
