If this is referring to the 2.40 update, don't download it. It has been bricking ps3s all over the country.

I received the update Tuesday night. No problems here either.

Might just be me, but 2.4 is not showing up for me. My current one is 2.36, but maybe it has been bricking PS3's then they took it down.....
