SPORE

Anyone going to get this game? Came out yesterday. I really want to go buy it, but am afraid my computer won't be able to run it at full blast. I downloaded the free creature creator on my work laptop to help pass the time and it is a lot of fun creating different creatures and seeing how they move around and do things. Of course, my work laptop (I work for a software engineering company) has a dual processor and 4 GB of RAM so it can handle almost anything.

I got the Creature Creator for it too, but I haven't gotten the full game.

Re: SPORE

So I went and bought it...and then realized that I needed a new video card because mine was too old. So I bought one online...then when I got it I realized it was PCI-E...and not PCI. So now I have a paper weight that has never been used. So then I went by Circuit City (had a gift card) and got me a video card I could use.

Since then I have been playing the game and it's quite amazing. It really is a combination of several different games with the last one (space) being a HUGE game itself and having a ton of different directions. It's definitely a fun game and I could see playing it over and over again to create different types of civilizations and outcomes.

I've almost done that before. Luckily I was paying attention.

Yeah sometimes the little green men distract me and I miss details in things.

Re: SPORE

My kid and I got this game the day it was released.

We think it rocks.

I used it to create some of the ships and graphics for an online game I made.

You can look at the pics of the ships on the game site
scud248.com

spore is awesome.
