Alabama Softball

Other schools might do this, but I wanted to give Coach Murphy and his staff a huge shout out. As many of you know Alabama has sold all of its season tickets for the second year in the row. Last night Alabama Coaches and Players personally delivered tickets to season ticket holders in the Tuscaloosa area. For fans it was really neat to open the door and have two of the players or the coaches hand you the tickets and thank you for all your support. This is an example of why this team has found so much success!
I can't wait for this season to start.

Lol! That is a typical Murphy move. He, Aly and Vann do not miss a beat when it comes to thanking the people who support them and promote the team at the same time.

You are right; no group of softball coaches, anywhere, puts more into the game, on or off the field. This is what seperates this program from the others. It is yet another example of why Alabama softball can now be looked upon as one of the elite teams in college softball.

Re: Alabama Softball

I just love seeing two SEC teams at the top of the list. We have come a long way in college softball. Both have great, tough, schedules this year and LSU and UT are no slouches either. We shall see.

MSU might muster up a good season. Their problem has always been consistency.

UGA has always fielded a good team. Coach Harris is a demanding coach that always seems to keep them close but they are a young team especially at the pitching position.

I will be interested to see how Erin Arevalo does. She pitched for the Arizona Hot Shots, a real good club team and did well at the Gold Nationals. This usually means that a pitcher is seasoned against good competition and should be able to hold her own, even at a young age, in college ball. Time will tell; I am always interested in watching the red and black.
