The UAB Blazers visit T-town for a 6:30 game at the Alabama Softball Complex. The Blazers, 6-8 on the season, are a pretty good offensive team (5+ runs per game). Unfortunately for the Blazers, they give up more than 7.5 runs per game.

The problem is not just pitching (7.22 team era, given up twice the number of runs and hits as strikeouts), there's little help behind them (2+ errors per game).

The Blazers will likely start Lindsey Croft (2-6 with a 5.33 era) in the pitching circle. Their most dangerous hitters are Catherine Douglass (.722 slugging % with 2 HRs) and Mandy Lowman (.656 slugging % with 3 HRs).
