Whitsett, a junior at Houston Memorial High School who joined Tiger Woods as one of just five players to ever win the U.S. Junior Amateur at age 15, committed earlier this week to accept a golf scholarship offer to play for the Crimson Tide.
“I want to help Alabama win their first national championship in golf,” he said. “That’s a huge goal.”
