Bama softball beat ASU 6-2 to advance to the semi finals playing #1 Florida tomorrow at 3.

EST, 2 PM CST (more like 2:30) on ESPN. The if game is scheduled for 8:00 PM CST (more like 8:30) on ESPN2.

Not to rest on our laurels but those 2 games typify what Bama athletics should be about. Hats off the Coach Murphy and the team for bouncing back and winning the way they did especially against ASU. Great call on the pinch hit for Brittany and Jazlyn responded. I guess you could say Jazlyn "hit her stride" and showed "pluck and grit" that symbolizes our athletes.

Now on to the Gators...

What a heart-stopping game that was against Arizona! The Bama Softball Team never fails to deliver in the excitement category. Looks like the SEC will score big in the World Series this year again! RTR!

And the one last night against Arizona State wasn't exactly a walk in the park" (Pun intended ) It was a late game and both teams looked tired. But when Jazlyn Lunceford stepped in to pinch-hit for Brittany Rogers and smashed a Grand Slam HR, the Tide took control of the game and never looked back. A true Crimson Tide example of Pluck and Grit. Final Score Bama 6, AZU 2
Great win and RTR, girls!!
