Bamaball2001 BamaNation All-American Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Snellville Georgia Posts: 2,283 Friends: 1 My Mood:	Softball Heads to the Pan Am Qualifier Share Former Tide softball player Ashley Holcombe and coach Patrick Murphy are leaving Wednesday for Caracas, Venezuela (via Miami) for the Pan Am qualifier. The actual tournament is in Maracay, about ninety minutes west from Caracas. There are 22 teams entered with two pools of 11 teams. The team will play 10 pool games and then need to win three more for a gold medal.
