Guys, I want to comment on something I noticed this Saturday that really made me appreciate this guy even more. We all know as a player at his position, he is greatly unmatched, and as a player in general, what he brings to the team is unmeasurable. But I noticed something this weekend that really kinda choked me up for a moment and made me realize that he is not only a great player, but an awesome human being.

Saturday was my first time getting to experience "The Walk of Champions", and let me say, WOW! INCREDIBLE FEEL!! I noticed that almost all of the players just looked straight ahead and listened to their iPods, kinda blocking everything out, which is exactly what they should do (keep their minds on what needs to be done and not get caught up in the excitement). However, I did notice one player who did not pass up a single kid with an outstretched arm hoping for a hand slap. That's right, you guessed it. Terrence Cody. When I saw that I thought, "Wow, what a guy. I bet he was that kid at once and knows what it means to them."

Kinda rambled on there, but I just can't say enough about how awesome and special I think he is to our program.

ROLL TIDE!!!!!

He is definitely a guy out there who does not take one minute of it for granted. He truly loves playing football...and even more...playing football at Alabama!

I think he has more sheer fun on a football field than any player I've ever seen. NFL coaches will notice that and be licking their chops for a player with an attitude like that.

I thought Cody played a whale of a game against Arky. I noticed everytime he'd make a big play, he was soo pumped. I saw that with Hightower too, trying to cheer him up. He just looks to have a great and infectious attitude. Its a pleasure to watch him play. While watching the Arky game at home, we were saying half-jokingly that CNS should let him have the ball at the goal line let him score one on offense just once, like when he went in to block for Ingram. I bet he'd love it too!

I didn't doubt that Cody was coming back for his senior season for those very reasons. He absolutely LOVES being big man on campus and LOVES playing college football. It's fun seeing a player so elated!

Terrence is literally and figuratively a B I G kid!

He seems to be a truly happy person and he is a joy (for us at least) to watch.

I LOVE it when players take the time to slap hands with the kids like that. That is such a great memory for them. Kudos to TC for doing that and kudos for being such a sharp dressed man too! He had it going on!!! :)

Cody is the type of guy that you have to seen live to fully appreciate. It's not just his size, it's the fact that he is having so much fun out there. Before the game, after the game, during the game... he always is exuberant, has enthusiasm and a connection with the fans.

Did any1 else see him when he was talking to Hightower? He was over there joking with him and then he was trying to give him a kiss on the cheek. I was LMBO!!! At least he gets it though, it is a priviledge to play FB and you should have as much fun as possible while your doing it. It is what makes all the 2-a-days worth it.

Saw that also and thought DH was going to get up and run. I almost broke a record for distance you could spit "refreshment" I laughed so hard. What strikes me also, is that as big as he is, I think his heart may be as big (if that's possible). He seems to enjoy who and what he is and plays for the love of the game and I for one, admire that. He'll be a great one. :PDT_Armataz_07:

I would love to see Cody get the handoff on the goal line against the Barn!

Cody is genuinely having the time of his life right now. He had to work hard to get to were he is at, and he appreciates the opportunity.

He loves the kids too. My son got his autograph after a practice this summer, it made his day. He not only gave his autograph, he took the time to sit down & talk about working hard and having goals, with a 10 yr old.... Cody is an amazing young man.
