Do you ever remember when we played a team that had as many injury problems during the game? There was some serious hitting going on, all over the field.

They heard coach's pregame speech from last year when he told the team to "make his ..... quit!"

Add me to the list of people that thought that was an interception. Glad the call went our way, and I can understand why they considered it inconclusive on the replay. Nobody can ever know if LSU would have scored or not, but the game is over and congrats to LSU for playing a great game today. I hope all the injuries are minor. ROLL TIDE!!!:BigA:

Amen, bro. I may get grief from Bama fans for this, but I think the officials got it wrong with their call on that interception. I still think we would have shut you down, but it was still a bad call, IMO...

I agree it was close...but I think the thing was it didn't look like he had control of the ball as he was going out (he was still tucking it when his foot was out. It wasn't enough to overrule the call on the field.
I'm not so sure LSU would have scored again anyway, they'd had to drive it all the way down.

LSU came to play and play they did. We were dominated at times and then we got it together. Great game and it was everything it was predicted to be.

Listening to Coach Saban on the radio and he seems to be almost happy right now. :wink:

I thought you all had a bad spot too on the first drive of the game, forward progress looked like a 1st down to me. I'd have over turned the ruling on the field on the interception as well. I'll not complain but I would be if I wasn't an Alabama fan. Just calling a spade a spade...

Hope all your guys are better by next week. Hate to see so many go down. Good game!

I'm glad to call it a win, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "solid" win. Glad to have escaped. There is a lot of work to do to make it through the SECCG, much less the BCSCG.

that was an on the field judgement call. If t had been called an int, the call would have stood. inconclusive, either way

You have no room to talk ....

First , I was sure LSU fans would have something to say about the non-int interception . I only hope they will admit their safety was bogus as Ingram was 4 feet from the ball . This blown call eventually resulted in 8 points for the tiggers . Without them , this game would've long since been over before the play in question .

Second , an obvious block in the back which wasn't called lead to their first score . I'd take a pass on criticizing the officiating crew if I were a tigger .

I saw that too...not to mention some PI by Peterson a couple times.
