Did anyone catch the impromptu Tostitos advertisement in the middle of the fiesta bowl? They cut to a shot of the bench where the camera man had a bag of tortilla chips in front of the camera, from which he then grabbed a chip from and ate it. Can't we save the ads for commercial time instead of game time? They already had the Tostitos name plastered everywhere you look! Heck, that's why I got TIVO!

Just another example how broadcasters are intruding on the integrity of the game. Hope I don't see the camera man dangle a CITI credit card on the screen in the middle of the NC game.

The BCSNC isn't on FOX..................

If only Victoria's Secret were sponsoring the game. Or... "micro-thongs 'R US".

FWIW, the HD broadcast of last night's game was the best that I have ever seen of a sporting event. It had a 3D feel to it, so crisp was the image...

what I hate about Fox, other than the poor announcers was how much camera time the fans and bands received. Did anyone notice early in the game, there was a fumble that they didn't even notice? The running back got wrapped up, and the camera's went to an audience reaction shot before the whistle sounded. Meanwhile the runner fumbled the ball to the other team. The announcers barely noticed.

IMO (regarding sports), Fox has the best HD broadcasts, though CBS is really good at times as well.

ESPN's HD is average at best.

FOX needs to either commit to college football or get out. They do 5 bowl games a year and the people they have do NOT know what they are talking about. They need to stick to the NFL.

This is Fox we're talking about. Their full gauntlet of channels suck beyond explanation.

I wish we had Time Warner Cable, I heard they were going put the ax on Fox after 12 31. We have Cablevison, but I did see the ads. I hate Fox......

There was WAYYYYYY too much of the fans, cheerleaders, and bands! I thought maybe Fox's goal was to put everyone in the stadium on camera. They could have had a lot more replays of the actual game action.

I didn't mind the camera shots of the TCU majorettes. I found them to be much more exciting than the actual game. :biggrin2:

The Fox Channel picture is fantastic, I just think their announcers are too NFL oriented and don't bring out the emotion which, to me, makes college football the greatest game on the planet.
