Stranger things have happened folks. Hanks over the middle a couple of times could happen.

I remember as a kid, watching a Bama game where they were down a couple of scores in the fourth with not much time left at all.. They came back and won it.

There's still 7:00 left.. If they want it, they'll have it.

It is time this team realizes that the D is putrid. Today was only a matter of time. We have an national championship caliber O (especially RBs and WRs), a serviceable QB and OL, but the D is below mediocre. This will NOT be our only loss this year. We are looking at 3 or 4 losses unless something dramatic changes.

I love my Tide, but this could be it right here. I am not trying to be doom and gloom, but this is probably going to be game. I just don't see how we can recover unless we hit a couple of quick strikes and manage the clock, but I don't think we have it today.

But look at it like this, we all knew that running the table again in the regular season would be iffy at best. The season is not over, but I fear this game is.

yep, it just hurts. I guess we've forgotten this feeling over past year or so. It's just tough.

They exploited every weakness we have.

I keep trying to tell my daughter it's only a game too. She's already freaking out about going to school on Monday. We live in Charleston, SC. People have been giving her a hard time at school all week. I keep telling her she just has to say okay and walk away, but that's hard for a 14-year-old who is very emotional about Alabama football.

I'll catch some heat maybe, for this, but this SC team just has more "want to" is this game than Bama.

You shouldn't catch any b/c it's true. Garcia is playing well above his capabilities and Jeffrey is being Jeffrey (he is a true stud). We didn't control either line of scrimmage and gave up a lot of sacks. Like CNS said earlier this year, sometimes you have to feel the pain of defeat to motivate you, and I just hope the lesson sinks in with our guys. We could still pull it out, but with the way our defense has played, I highly doubt it. We still control our destiny for getting to ATL, so that is the only positive I can see (it's not a loss to a West foe).

The sad thing is, this is not a great SC team. Garcia has been the butt of bad jokes since I can remember and I still say they lose 2-3 more times this year. It appears to me the team was simply not mentally ready for the game--I know of no other explanation.
