We've all heard about what Lindy's and Athlon, Phile Steele etc. think.

Why don't we see what Tidefans thinks. We know more than them anyway :)

Everyone who wishes to participate simply list your pre-season top ten. After fifty members post I'll tabulate the results based on a 10 points for first, 9 points for second etc. and we'll see what the Tidefans Preseason Poll looks like.

Here's mine:

(1) Bama
(2) Oklahoma
(3) LSU
(4) Florida State
(5) Boise State
(6) Texas A@M
(7) Stanford
(8) Florida
(9) Texas
(10) Oregon

and yours..........?

My pre season would look like this

1. OU
2. Bama
3. LSU
4. Oregon
5.FSU
6.Stanford
7.Texas A&M
8. Texas
9. Boise St.
10. Notre Dame
I'm not too sure about Stanford. IIRC they lost a good bit, with the exception of Luck. I don't understand Texas and Notre Dame. Neither showed great improvement last year to be ranked in the top 10.

I'm not solid on 6-10, however Texas has such good recruiting and high talent level, they should do well in spite of Mack Brown, ND might sneak in there. Stanford has Luck. What's yours?

Not sure I see where Florida gets into the top 10. Yes they have talent but their staff is brand new and they are totally switching style of play. Arkansas would be a better choice to put in the top 10 right now between the two, IMO. The Hogs are going to be tough even without Mallett.

Hmmm alot of respect for a 5-7 Texas team on here. Quite frankly, I'll be surprised if Texas gets 9 regular season wins this year. 2012 seems like a better time for them to return to prominance. I watched probably 8 of their games last year and they have some serious issues they have to address before they are top ten caliber.

With that said, my top ten is as follows...

1) Oklahoma
2) Alabama
3) LSU
4) Florida State
5) Oregon
6) Texas A&M
7) Oklahoma State
8) Wisconsin
9) Arkansas
10) Boise State

8. Texas A&M
9. Oklahoma State
10. South Carolina

I have no confidence in 9 or 10, but it's supposed to be a top 10 so I couldn't leave them blank. :)

For those putting Texas in your top 10, remember Mack got new coordinators this off-season. They'll have some adjusting to do.

(1) Bama (of course)
(2) LSU
(3) FSU (knocks Oklahoma off on Sept 17th)
(4) Oregon
(5) Nebraska (Will own the Big Ten)
(6) Texas A&M
(7) TCU
(8) South Carolina
(9) Wisconsin
(10) Texas
