We had the chance to remove the SUBJECTIVE aspect of the BCS from the picture, and we didn't do it.

THAT is the point.

Has we handled our business, we wouldn't have to worry about the subjective voters.

But we do.

No matter how much you believe Bama is the best or second best team in the country, it doesn't matter. once we lost on 11/5, we left it in the hands of other folks

So yah, we blew it. Any argument otherwise is merely emotion.

I agree that Bama could have taken the subjective out of it. However, these other one-loss teams blew it as well. Specifically, they blew it AFTER we did and in BIGGER fashion. If you have 2, 3, or 4 one-loss teams . . . why not Bama over them? The BCS title game involves two contestants, not one. Bama is just as or more deserving than any of the others.

Unfortunately, my vote has no bearing on the BCSCG.

I agree we're the better team.

My point is simply that we had the chance to force out way in, to remove subjectivism from the situation, and we blew it. It's that simple.

Now we can only wait and see.

I almost wish OSU gets to go play LSU. Like Vincent Vega said about the guy who keyed his car, catching the guy who keyed his car would make it worth getting his car keyed. I want Bama to win the BCSNC game but I'd love to see OSU get smashed.

Yeah I heard what Gundy said and my response is, there is no way OSU would score 30 something points against LSU. In fact LSU would make this yr's Nat'l Championship game one of the least competitive games, because that game will be competitively over by halftime. Gundy should be careful about biting off more than he can chew.

You're right. Prior to the game I said that I would accept whatever happened, even if that meant OSU winning big in getting in over Bama. I just didn't think they would.

At the end of the day, whoever gets left out of the BCS title game has NO room to complain. Alabama lost control of our fate when we lost to LSU, and OSU, when they lost to Iowa State. We want to see our team do well, but we are going to a BCS bowl. Its been a successful season, let's allow the chips to fall where they may.
