I hope he rec'd at least a fraction of the joy he brought to Bama nation during his tenure. Met him one time, and class just oozed from him. Godspeed Coach Moore. You will be sorely missed.

Absolutely speechless!!!!!!! I have seen him give his all playing.... I have seen him give his all coaching..... I have seen him give his all as an administrator..... Heaven just turned a little more CRIMSON.............

Not going to look at this sadly anymore today. He lived a great full life, being able to take part in something he loved. He is arguably the most successful man in CFB history as a player, coach, and AD. His legacy will live on for a long time, and he left this world, this state, and the University he so loved a better place. Let's not mourn his passing, but celebrate the wonderful man, because that's what all of his success stemmed from was being a great person. Remember him how he would want to be remembered, not by these last few months where his health failed him (like it will all of us one day), but the nearly six decades he spent doing what he loved.

Soooo very much to give thanks to this man for. Been about an hour since I heard and still, even though I knew he was sick, am just shocked and saddened.
Thank you all you have done, Coach!! Guess Coach Bryant needed an offensive coordinator and as always, you answered the call. R.I.P. Coach Moore!!!
