This is the epitome of what is wrong with America. This whole "The other guy did it (or something similar) so why are you upset when my guy does it?" only to revert back to "How DARE you!" when the other guy's guy is back in control. This is the mentality that is destroying this country little by little. It doesn't matter who did what when and how it compares to what the guy now is doing. Right is right and wrong is wrong no matter who's doing it. Momma and Daddy have/had a lot of wisdom that was apparently not imparted to this generation of voters.OK Since you brought it up. BTW this is not me saying "OMG BUSH IS EVIL LET OBAMA GET AWAY WITH IT." This is just trying to bring some reality to the conversation. Everyone is acting as if Obama is the first sitting US president to try and change the context to fit their narrative as well as having departments of the government during their presidential terms do heinous and stupid things.
Again as a caveat, the IRS thing, the wiretapping, and the politicizing of the facts are all pretty egregious, but please try and at least realize that this isn't an "Evil democrats, upstanding Republicans" debate. This is a "Politicians are all slimy jerkfaces" debate.
Not necessarily reporters, but legal US residents who were illegally wiretapped. I don't think that just because a reporter is a reporter, that they should have more rights than me to not be wiretapped without a warrant.

Not nearly as systematic, yet definitely a targeted investigation for political reasons. Although the NAACP is likely considered a more high profile target than any of the new upstart tea party affiliates were at the time.

Really? This one is a bit too easy.

This type mentality is one of the reasons why there's such a divide in our country. We have become a people who care more about protecting our pride than seeing reality. We'd rather defend our political party to the death rather than admitting that they were wrong or they do not have our best interest in mind. This is the epitome of what is wrong with America. And election coverage is focused on gaffes instead of honest debate. This type mentality is one of the reasons why there's such a divide in our country. I've had friends who were supporters of "W" 'til this day defend ALL of his actions to the death. Though his presidency wasn't based off of honesty and integrity. The same goes for Obama. I've got friends (and some family) who will fight/argue you to the death about how he's the best president we've had in years. Yet you can cite time after time where he and his administration either completely lied or wasn't anything near "the most transparent administration ever" as he advertised during his campaign. But the died in the wool kook aid drinkers simply turn a blind eye to that. And election coverage is focused on gaffes instead of honest debate.
I would say the O man has taken it to a new level.OK Since you brought it up. BTW this is not me saying "OMG BUSH IS EVIL LET OBAMA GET AWAY WITH IT." which is why we desperately need a purge in this countryI've had friends who were supporters of "W" 'til this day defend ALL of his actions to the death. Sometime in the near future you should think about getting over your man crush and step back into reality. Exactly how is allowing four of our people to get killed while he goes to bed being aggressive?I don't agree with everything Obama does; but I do enjoy watching how aggressive he is, even though it spells doom for the Dems in 14, and 16.
He wanted his seond term, so he said screw it and went to bed. It doesn't get more aggressive than that.Sometime in the near future you should think about getting over your man crush and step back into reality. Rumor has it ,swoop, that you've been murmuring Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck's name in your sleep!:eek2:Sometime in the near future you should think about getting over your man crush and step back into reality. Sorry but that's not aggressive it's called something else where I come from but you keep laying you head down on your pillow with your Obama pillow case and staring at your Obama poster on the ceiling, you'll be okay.He wanted his seond term, so he said screw it and went to bed. Either is better than Obama. Neither, as far as I know have gone to bed while knowing someone they gave a job to would more than likely be killed when they awoke. That alone makes them much better people than the afore mentioned person in my book.Rumor has it ,swoop, that you've been murmuring Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck's name in your sleep!:eek2:
FIFY...He wanted his seond term, so he said screw it and went to bed. It doesn't get more cowardly than that.
All he had to say was, go get them, and it would have been done. He put is career first, maybe not the honorable act, but defiantely not cowardly. All leaders have the ruthless sometimes which I'm sure your aware of.FIFY...
Mainly because neither how real power. Plus we are not sure how many people Rush offed when he was doping.Sorry but that's not aggressive it's called something else where I come from but you keep laying you head down on your pillow with your Obama pillow case and staring at your Obama poster on the ceiling, you'll be okay.

Do you need a cup of coffee?Mainly because neither how real power. Plus we are not sure how many people Rush offed when he was doping.
You've got to be kidding. It is cowardly and selfish if that is the reason he did it. I don't want someone who puts himself ahead of what is right. I really don't know how you get up in the mornings or are able to handle a normal day. Your way of thinking is just bassackward most of the time. All he had to say was, go get them, and it would have been done. Fair enough, I understand why most feel that way. You've got to be kidding. It is cowardly and selfish if that is the reason he did it. I don't want someone who puts himself ahead of what is right. Troll or personality disorder? I can't decide. All he had to say was, go get them, and it would have been done. He put is career first, maybe not the honorable act, but defiantely not cowardly. All leaders have the ruthless sometimes which I'm sure your aware of.
