Re: Robert Nkemdiche falls from 4th story window?

Before the statement was released, I cringed at his behavior and hoped he might learn. After the statement, he disgusts me and I have no regard for him whatsoever.

Any wrong, once confessed, can be forgiven, but hypocrisy reeks in the nostrils of every honest man.

Yes, about like the person who has been told he has hurt your feelings and he comes to you and says "IF I have hurt your feelings I apologize ......" The "if" says it all, LOL. Just can't admit it.

As Nixon said many moons ago, All Men Lie.
Alas, those moons weren't made of "green" Freeze, for whom disciplining or not disciplining the Kimchi bros. could prove to be the tipping point of the iceberg (cold, hard cash) going into meltdown. Or $omething like that.

It was just announced he won't play in the Sugar Bowl. RN wasn't interested once he learned they wouldn't be on grass.

So we are to believe that he falls twice from a dangerous height without the aid of drugs or alcohol? It just happens. It's a bad decision. Yep, ok.

He has also declared for the NFL Draft today. I wonder what this latest lack of judgement does to his draft stock?

They know he's fallen but he can get up for starters. That's a positive (like his drug test).

Re: Robert Nkemdiche falls from 4th story window?

So Freeze's statement after suspending him then having him declare for the NFL draft:

"I'm totally indebted to this guy. He helped change our program [as the No. 1 recruit in the country when he signed]," Freeze said. "I look forward to sharing with NFL scouts and general managers his unique ability and talent."

Hold the heck on. You're indebted to him? You gave him a chance to play football in the best conference in the country, get an education, and develop his talent enough to have the chance to make millions in the coming years. And you're indebted to him?

And what, besides play on the field, has the Nkemdiche brothers brought to you? A couple of guys that have been in and out of trouble since they arrived on campus. And you're indebted?

And you want to know why HS prospects and players once they arrive become issues? Entitlement. And here is "Mater" Freeze reinforcing that notion.

Thanks Freeze. You're a tool.

Ole Miss' defense isn't nearly as good without RN. If he wants to use drugs, that is between him, his family and his school. I couldn't care less. The NFL only cares about drugs which will get caught on tests. If he can play, he will make $$$.

He had his choice of schools. Literally. Watching this circus unfold its obvious he would've left Alabama without packing his bags, or he would've been an unstoppable force with the honing his skills would've gotten here. So, yes, Freeze is owes him for ruining him as a person but giving his program legitimacy.

In retrospect, it appears that Nkemdiche, like Clowney, made the correct choice wrt playing for Alabama...

Sweet baby Jesus, six years of those two headlining our defensive front, if they had the proper attitudes, would've been downright unfair!

But neither showed the self-discipline required to play for CNS. They both ended up where they needed to be - not at Bama.

Re: Robert Nkemdiche falls from 4th story window?

I kinda get the draw of playing under Spurrier. Don't get Freeze's draw over an established Clemson program and Nick Saban's Alabama. He had different goals. It's his Junior year and the team he decommitted from made the playoffs and a team he spurned in his recruitment are in the playoffs for the second straight year...and alls he seen is a consolation Peach Bowl drubbing and a suspension for a consolation Sugar Bowl.

To say he made a bad decision is hasty because alls he needed was a place that would put him on the field for 3 years to give scouts plenty of tape. But if he ever wanted to compete for championships, yeah he made a huge mistake decommitting from Clemson and going to Ole Miss.

No one can get Freeze's recruiting prowess. Ole Miss? Not exactly Ohio State, USC, Texas or Alabama. As of right now Ole Miss sits THIRD on 24/7 recruiting.
