I really like that just Coach Avery's presence brings people like Sean Payton to the game. While the interview wasn't exactly brilliantly managed, it still has to help our program having those associations.

Seems like this one is following familiar script. We get up early then go cold toward end of half.

Our shooting is our Achilles Heel. It has been for a few years now, and we just can't improve enough there. Our defense is what keeps us in games, and our offense is why it always seems we play down to the competition.

Man, tough to see our offense struggling in such a big game. We've played well defensively and fundamentally, but nothing is falling. If we lose this game, nothing short of an SEC Tournament win will get us in

Both teams shooting 48%. Difference is they gotten 10 more shots off.

We tend to go through a stretch in each game where we fall in love with the long ball and get away from driving to the basket or looking for points in the paint. Granted, Taylor/Kessens/Hall aren't scoring machines down low, but you've got to look for them and make an effort to get the ball inside. If we continue to shoot from 15+ in the 2nd half it will be up to Norris/Hale/Edwards to get hot and Retin will have to pitch in his usual points. Need more effort defending the ball in half court or it is going to be tough to overcome the hogs.
