Our D’s tendency to let QBs out of the pocket concerns me, as does our poor tackling and the Aubie luck they pull out of their hindquarters at home. I don’t have a good feeling on this game.

We have to beat them by more than 14 to have a shot at the playoffs IMO. Given how good their front 7 is, I don’t know that we can do it. I think we win but weird things happen in Auburn.

I hope so but this seems to be the year where the ESPN talking heads simply want us out of the playoffs. The committee can do what they want and they know the games are on ESPN.

The reason I believe that mostly, is that I think the other games will take care of themselves.....I think if we win -- they won't have a choice (whether they like it or not)

I agree with you also on the prediction of Bama losing in why even post it, especially when you predict we get beat by 2 TD's. Some think we are now Miss St. when our back-up QB is playing. Still a bunch of 4* and 5* guys out on the field.

And Mac is pretty accurate. Not as fast as a release as Tua -- but when you have 4 guys who are fast as lightning and have more moves than ex-lax...... you are in every game you play

The ‘better team’ during the season usually wins this game—but not always. Our last trip to JHS is a prime example.

There's something to be said with "Mac looks cool and collected" --

As with Clemson and LSU this year -- Tua tried to rise about the intensity of the game..... and dug a hole early. Trying to do too much.

VS Auburn -- we don't need to do too much ..... their offense may score 20 -- "may" --

I know there is this feeling that we need to destroy Auburn - but why? Because Dennis Dodd says so?

I think if we hold Auburn to under 20 -- we should be able to score 30+

That should be enough....because we won't play dumb....and that's usually where we get into trouble with Auburn
