I just don’t know if I can trust our defense. The tail end of this season, plus last season, has scarred me and we don’t seem to plan on doing anything different or have any players who can help outside Moses.

We played a better game against LSU than the team that is in the national title game. LSU WILL NOT have this type offense again. But we will have a scoring machine. If we can improve on defense 30%. We'd be better than 2019 Clemson....who is in the title game by the way. Offense is winning these games.

True, but Clemson is in the title game after playing an entire season against homecoming teams. I can’t even tell you a good team they played before their conference championship. It sure as heck wasn’t Syracuse.

LSU will be good on offense now but this was a rare combination of players and lack of tape on what they do. First, next year people are going to know everything LSU does and how they will react with a full offseason QA on their tape. Second, Burrow is a rare breed and enables a lot of the things that makes them so productive. The next QB will have great WRs and a good scheme but they’re gonna have to keep more blockers in and backs around to chip because it is unlikely they’ll be as tough and durable as Burrow.
