Hope you are right because if they miss on Jackson and Harris, I think that hurts CB recruiting. I realize the 23 class of DB's is very strong in the state of AL but I think they need studs this year.
Relax and enjoy the recruiting ride. Bama has Fegans. We're not going to missed on Little. Bama will get either Jackson or Harris. our DB will be fine no matter what. and as you stated, the in state 23' class is loaded with elite CBs.

Jones isn't really a D-line target..he's more of a edge rush guy..think Dallas Turner. Alabama is still in it for Lucas. I expect Khurtiss Perry to announce for Bama on ESD. Christen Miller has also been expressing interest as well. Bama got in late on him so we shall see....
I was listening to 97.3fm in Huntsville during lunch and they said Kurtiss Perry visited Auburn over the weekend and listed them as the front runner in his recruitment. I believe it was a recruiting specialist by the name of Keith Neibhur. Not sure of the spelling.

I would be surprised if Perry didn't commit to Alabama. He's been waiting for a committable offer for awhile and then 2 months ago he was given the green light to commit.
If for some reason he doesn't come to Bama, its because he may have felt jilted during the recruitment process that Bama was late to jump on him. It's recruiting so anything is possible with 17-18 y.o.

Wondering if we feel good about Lucas and with the numbers starting to get tight we pulled back on him recently. His video is very good and can't imagine him going to the Barn with that staff over our offer even if he felt jilted.

Lucas is still in the mixed with us and Texas AM and possibly USC with Riley as the new HC. I agree Perry would be foolish going to auburn with what's happening over there, but these kids are emotional and logic is never a close companion.

Sounds like someone in the media is spreading misinformation
Not really..he told reporters that Auburn was his number one school...but behind the scenes....still hearing Bama. Alabama's staff feels confident in landing him...until that changes...then I won't change my mind on where he ends up.

Conflicted? Or possibly trying to throw people off the trail due to being badgered about it? Hope Bama lands the kid

I just watched Khurtiss Perry absolutely destroy a veteran OL in the 5A championship game. He had at least 3 sacks in the first half and caused a fumble in the second by meeting the QB as he was handing off from the shotgun. His explosiveness off the ball is phenomenal. My alma mater could not block him and they were undefeated coming in with both offensive tackles holding multiple scholly offers. Perry was not blockable one on one.

Pike Road lined up and ran the wildcat over and over and over - with Ole Miss commit Judkins (Kiffin in attendance) and with a freshman to watch, Anthony Rogers. It's not fair to be that fast at 15.

I saw highlights of that game and did not realize Perry was playing for Pike Road. However, I did see Rogers and he can fly and for only a freshman looks incredible. Definitely one to keep our eye on.
