He's still around as in he's 83 years old, but he retired from writing columns about 15 years ago.Is Corky Simpson still around? You old-timers might recall that he voted us no. 1 each week of the 1992 season, and was the only one that did so every week.
I think it’s the other way around. We have to win to get to the playoffs. UGA is already in.I like the underdog role......... the pressure is on UGA, and the more the better.....
There is a tremendous about of pressure on Kirbs to finally break through against Nick Saban. I guarantee you he's feeling it. They say the team takes on the personality of its coach...I think it’s the other way around. We have to win to get to the playoffs. UGA is already in.
Yeah, but nobody thinks we're going to win and we've won plenty.I think it’s the other way around. We have to win to get to the playoffs. UGA is already in.
This will be the first game that UGA really has a target on their back. Can they handle the pressure of being #1 and playing Bama. Let's hope not. RTRI like the underdog role......... the pressure is on UGA, and the more the better.....
I will take thatHere's a pick for Bama!
Joe says: The game of the year in college football is here, but Alabama’s offense is suddenly short-handed against the best defense in the country. The starting running back is questionable, but expect him to play through the pain if possible. There’s a Game of the Century feel for Georgia, but if Alabama can keep it close they’ll win it in the end with the better quarterback and kicker. Alabama isn’t getting blown out with Will Anderson Jr. on the line of scrimmage. The Crimson Tide’s 4OT dogfight with Auburn prepared Alabama mentally for its toughest test of the season.
Joe’s pick: Alabama 24, Georgia 21
Underdog Alabama has something Georgia lacks
It's Championship Week of the grand experiment and gift to society.www.al.com
i just wanted to read this part again. All they have to do is something they never do -- beat Alabama. In their lone SEC Championship of the last 15 years they avoided us, we made the playoffs and then boom -- we beat them anyway in Atlanta for the National Title.
The pressure is to get the Bama gorilla off their backs...................even though one win wont do it. They are under pressure to remain perfect, while Bama has already been written off by most everyoneI think it’s the other way around. We have to win to get to the playoffs. UGA is already in.
Take a shot of Jack before you say it.Alabama's not man enough to beat Georgia, Paul.
Just know that I typed it with slurred speech.Take a shot of Jack before you say it.
