Basically, he was ahead of the curve on the tempo stuff, but now, almost everyone is doing it. Unless there are inherent disadvantages to UCLA that I don't know about, he would be a step backwards from what Cristobal was doing.
Until recently UCLA has not been "all out" in their support of football. That may have changed in the last year or two, IDK. They are a public school vs USC being private, not sure how the state of Cal views football at this time or what their funding capabilities and intentions are. We know about Oregon and funding.

UCLA has more job advantages than Oregon and a far more loyal rabid fanbase if they are winning. He would be wise to stay in LA.
