Its possible, but I dont know if it will happen. Remember he won his 1 NC after having a confidence crisis so this could potentially have that effect. BAMA up 2-0 after 3 complete. Jenna Johnson went deep in the first inning, and BAMA squeezed a run in in the top of the third. Jaala Torrence is on the mound and looks good thru three. Going to top of 4th.

BAMA tacks on another run after a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded. Shipman led off the inning with a double to left center. 3-0 BAMA, going to bottom of 4th.

Chattanooga adds a run in the bottom on the 4th. They started the inning out with two hits, but the runner on third scored due to a wild pitch by Torrence. Without the WP, we're out of the inning. 3-1 BAMA after 4 complete.

BAMA misses an opportunity to score in the top of the 5th. We had 2nd and 3rd, one out, and Ally Shipman smoked a line drive just inside the third base bag. The third baseman was able to snag it and basically fall on the bag for a double play to end the inning. We can't even get lucky. 3-1 BAMA going to bottom of the 5th. One note: Jenna Johnson's bat has come back to life. She has two hits tonight, including a dinger. She also laid down the bunt on the successful squeeze play.

Chattanooga added a solo HR in the bottom of the 7th, but BAMA prevails by a score of 6-2, and moves on to Sunday vs Stanford.

Glad to see Jaala and Jenna able to carry the team forward. Agree with you Krymson about swinging at those first pitches. Being aggressive is good, being predictable gives the opposition a tool.
