Well we got what we wished for on the OC/DC side...now its time to hire new blood and return to playing Bama football
This one always baffled me; I watched a lot of teams be incredibly good running this in 2022. Alabama just wasn't one of them. I don't understand why it wasn't scrapped mid-season.Top Five Things to Forget About BOB @ Bama:
1. We didn't win a NC with the most talented QB Bama has ever had on campus.
2. Snaps under 5 seconds on the play clock.
3. Hearing teams say we tipped off plays essentially giving the defense the advantage
4. Unimaginative play calling - we had the best players but we used them like vanilla
5. Last offensive series against LSU - the bad break of losing JaMo and Metichie in 2021 wasn't BOB's fault, but '22 LSU is squarely on him!
Otherwise, good luck to you BOB and I hope in some way you can help our boy Mac up there in Boston!
Sorry to Mac Jones, but I can't help but believe he'll be a lot happier than with Patricia.
No, but nor did he have half a dozen 1st round wide receivers. We all agree, I think, that Bama would have beaten Georgia a second time, and thus won a championship, in 2021 if Jameson Williams had stayed healthy all game.Sarkisian didn't have Bryce Young, either.
Yeah, originally when I started reading the type of offense Lebby ran I was picturing a Mike Leach type of air raid. But I had several posters on here who apparently knew more about Lebby's offense and showed me that wasn't the case by posting some videos of OU's offense from this past year. After watching, I think his style may be the best fit for our talent.I just went back and read what Jess wrote about Lebby and I hope you are correct!

Regarding you last statement, you could very well be correct. Now lets go hire someone good. I feel like there is a good chance this will be CNS's last set of coordinators here at BAMA.
I think O'Brien is a very good to great NFL offensive coordinator who never quite made the adjustment to the college game. Lane and Sark are much better at exploiting talent mismatches, which are less prevalent in the NFL.Do you think Bill O'Brien has that much sense?
I sure don't.
And now, no more excuses. I want to see the player attitude and development we're accustomed to under CNS.Well we got what we wished for on the OC/DC side...now its time to hire new blood and return to playing Bama football
Thank you sir! I've said this all along just like Daboll their game fit's the NFL betterI think O'Brien is a very good to great NFL offensive coordinator who never quite made the adjustment to the college game. Fixed it for you.A Texas Tech alum and friend of mine would probably say Klingsbury is right where he needs to be right now. Knee deep in Thai ladyboys and Ayahuasca.
Confess, I had to google that Ayahuasca stuff!!Fixed it for you.
Ssshhh! Finally that piece fell. Man, Kraft and Bill B are probably at the end of their time together. According to several Pats sites, this was a "Robert Kraft" hire and Bill B was "encouraged" to hire him. Even though Bill B apparently had real interest in others.
Nah, "ain't no" backing out of this hire. Bill B soiled his pants in what was probably the worst staff/personnel move he's ever made as Pats coach/gm. Seeing that Kraft made a public comment earlier in the year that it is bothersome that they haven't made the playoffs in three years, then having to watch that stage 5 crap show that was Patricia and Judge. Robert Kraft "helped" with the hiring of BOB.Ssshhh!
Lest the Patriots back out of the deal.
Hate it for the Patriots QB.
It’s his inability to adjust in-game.Cole Cubelic was throwing out a bunch of numbers that are better than the Sark years, but then you watch a game under BOB and something just isn't connecting with the numbers.
Giving "numbers" to an Auburn grad and letting them come to "conclusions" is like giving a monkey a straight razor and turning him loose in a crowd of people.Cole Cubelic was throwing out a bunch of numbers that are better than the Sark years, but then you watch a game under BOB and something just isn't connecting with the numbers.
I too, unlike many others, harbor no ill will towards BoB; without two key injuries, good possibility Bama could have won it all last year. This year, no excuses but we now know there was discontent in the LR. Combine that with a defense that was nonexistent against what I deem to be our biggest rival, and all the signs of a less than stellar season weren’t deceiving. BoB wasn’t blameless; plenty to go around.I join with the majority opinion here, but still, a minority observation is that BoB will get no respect for fielding a top-5-ish offense last year, nor much in the way of gratitude for being out recruiting until a couple of days ago. Thank you, BoB, and good luck in your future endeavors.
