Jalen Milroe is now the starter going forward.

It seems that there is some locker room stuff going on that makes the team prefer Milroe, but it's not due to anything happening on the field.
But if they try to throw the game on Saturday that's happening on the field.

We are way past talking about who's the best QB in terms of talent if this stuff is going on.

Buchner or Simpson may not be the next Tom Brady but since when does the starting offense get to decide to make them look bad?

Yeah, I was not thrilled when he transferred. We got a cast-off from notre dame. Say this outloud and see if it sounds as absurd as it does in print. Alabama got a cast-off from notre dame.
One of my best friends who is a huge ND fan was like "Rees isn't an upgrade over basically anyone" and when we signed Bucher he was like "What on earth is going on with Bama?"

Where is this "throwing the game" stuff coming from?

The only thing I can think is that Saban was looking for Buchner or Simpson to put up numbers like Milroe had against MTSU. Comparing performance against a weak opponent, Milroe outperformed the other guys. Just don't look at the Texas game...nothing to see here... let's all just move along...

My top choices:
Throw as much money as you can to bring Sark back. He was obviously the guy groomed for the job
Dabo-- seats getting hot in clemson

After that I go thru the saban coaching tree. Lots of them out there. Keep the bones of the place in tacked.
I'd be fine with Sark, but Dabo? No way in hell.

I've lost track of the posts in the thread, but in the response to what kind of plays to call for Milroe, and I had some suggestions. I know someone pushed back on those. But, against Texas, we had all of THREE designed running plays for Milroe.

He had 15 carries, but 5 of those were sacks and 7 were scrambles. Three designed running plays with Milroe as your QB is utterly irresponsible.

We cannot be the Bryce Young version of this offense with any of these QBs and especially with this offensive line. I do not buy that there is not talent there. The talent we have is not being properly utilized.
