Other than lack of ties to SEC and Saban, I'm happy. Given how replacing Bryant went, its arguable that a complete change might be something some would like. My only concern going in is who is going to be his DC. Really don't want to see a PAC12 view of defense.

I thought the Washington DC did rather well in the NC game. It was clear they were outmatched and overpowered on that side of the ball, but after he made adjustments, the defense is what kept them in the game. I wouldn't mind seeing what he can do with Alabama talent.

The BAMA brand will help with this, of course, but if he can recruit well, I think the sky is the limit.
