I loved Mike Shula as well as a player. Timing, his experience, and some poor luck all may have played a role in his failure here as a coach. It all worked out we got Saban!

Yeah, well, he has 2 NFL caliber running backs , if he wants that trend to continue(recruiting) , then he better learn to get those guys more involved. I hate to impugn his coaching ability, because I firmly believe he is a great coach, but in my opinion he has lo learn and adjust his offense. The running game can’t just be Jalen left, Jalen right and Jalen up the middle.

BTW, the bulk of the college Gameday Criticism was geared toward discipline, even Nick called them out for lack thereof. Who really could argue? . Pretty obvious if you watched the game.
