Two points:
1) Regardless of how we feel about it, the CFB universe has always put in more weight on conference championships than anything else, and that was probably a good thing until Alabama beat LSU in the 2011 NC game, and again when Alabama and UGA beat each other in 2 NC games. Now, we have proof that conference championships are not an end-all/be-all - it's a good data point, but not an argument-ender. So, keep in mind that conference champions in this current system will have a chance to get an AQ spot over a team that didn't win the conference, regardless of its top 12 ranking.
2) This is the first CFP rankings, and it won't be the last. Even in the Final 4 version, there's been some pretty big changes on those rankings each week in November. I get having a discussion and speculating, but some of y'all need to chill out. Alabama is probably eliminated if they lose a game in November, so Alabama needs to win out, regardless how everyone else plays.
