Same here, I couldn't care less about pro-sports. B'ball stinks worse than football. High schools are now being corrupted. Not much left.I honestly think I might be done with college football.

Milroe's first NIL deal was with Rhoback. They really pushed him to the front of their advertising after the Georgia game. They have to be questioning that choice now. What's really funny is, during last night's game, there a was commercial with Milroe selling a competitors hoodie.
If this continues I’ll be NFL only from now on.I honestly think I might be done with college football.
And I suspect the rest of the SEC will start feeling it soonJust remember that all programs are dealing with this
look what yellawood did to Auburn during harsins time
its been happening before this year, at least for Georgia. And I suspect the rest of the SEC will start feeling it soon
So let them hit the portal. Coaches have to have the guts to do that. The players will have to learn that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. It sounds like between the NIL and transfer portal most players are free agents to come and go at will. What does this also do from a discipline standpoint? If you suspend a player for rules violations, he will just quit and hit the portal. As some have stated, the game I loved is no more. I've never really been a pro football fan because of the money involved and now college football, as it now stands, is a worse version.
Don’t disagree, but what if they push back (not the players, but the business)? As unfettered as everything has become, how can Alabama exclude them if what they’re doing is paying players for their name, image, and likeness in exchange for endorsing a product, and I’m guessing with LANK making a margin in the process? My guess is we’d be opening ourselves up to a lawsuit, and the optics around that would be ugly, quickly.Which is why you push it out
Which would come with 3 year commitments they would have to honor and other schools couldn’t poach. IOW - NFLYou fix it with a union and CBA. Nothing else will work.
Here is the crazy thing about this whole NIL deal: its going to cause the NFL talent to drop substantially in the next couple of years. You can already see it happening, back in 2015 they were talking about how there was gonna be a OLine apocalypse because teams were becoming air raid pass happy and not having to teach the fundamentals of the position. There is alot of ugly football on sunday now, and its just gonna get worse because there are far too many players not staying till seniors and developing their skillsets. If this continues I’ll be NFL only from now on.
This is exactly why I have said I will not be buying anything or contributing to any NIL merchandise or service. It is a corrupting influence. It is high time that all of the bare bones of this deal be made transparent and completely public. I'm getting a nagging feeling that more is involved than just $$. If so, we contributors and fans are entitled to know. IN 99.9% of similar situations to last night, JM would have been pulled. He wasn't. Why not? It's been said that, if JM leaves, then the LANK leaves, including #2 on offense. If that be the case, I believe we're treading on thin ice. Maybe even legally. Perhaps NIL is leading to its logical conclusion - implosion...
I would be ok with this if the organizing body was committed to holding people accountable just like the NFL does with HARSH penalties for violating the CBA stipulations. When I mention harsh I mean $1million+ fines, loss of playoff privileges for 3 years, loss of many scholarships, etc etc etc. BUT the enforcement folks have to be incorruptible - unlike the keystone cops the NCAA employs and who have led vendettas against certain schools.Which would come with 3 year commitments they would have to honor and other schools couldn’t poach. IOW - NFL
