I've had plans to dip for over a year now.

I've got my passport and plan on getting an extended visa and I'm leaving and not coming back.

What does "dip" mean?

We are seemingly heading towards a 'The Zone of Interest' plot with stuff like this.

I give off too much of a 'He doesn't look 100% white' aesthetic to stay here so I'm dippin'.

The food is some of the best in the world. Bangkok is also a great travel hub. Always subject to change, but right now my wife and I are strongly looking into living there several months a year beginning in a few years.

I'm looking into Thailand. I have a good friend that lived/worked there for several years. The people and the rules are very ex-pat friendly. Can be a very cheap place to live. The food is some of the best in the world. Bangkok is also a great travel hub. Always subject to change, but right now my wife and I are strongly looking into living there several months a year beginning in a few years.

I don't think I'll ever be a surfer without hurting myself, but I'll give it a try or three. Scuba diving, however ... I'm still very much a novice but hope to up my game in the not-too-distant future.

I've been hooked on Asian cultures since I was a kid. Finally got to live abroad (South Korea with a Thailand excursion) for a little while about 25 years ago. Was not able to go back until last summer (Japan and then Vietnam). Thailand trip hopefully soon. The calm and friendly attitudes of the people, the food, the architecture, the history ... I love it all!

If I had to leave and never come back I’d probably pick Australia. It would have to be an English speaking country and Canada is too cold in the winter and England just seems too stuffy for my tastes.

I went to Scandanavia when i was a teenager. That probably where i would head to.
