I don't see a thread where this is being discussed. What are your thoughts on where Bama stands on the portal? There was no mad rush of any Bama players leaving (yet, with it opening tomorrow). How many roster spots do we have? Are players waiting on the NCAA to settle the court case first? What do you fans think are the biggest wholes on the Crimson Tide?

I scrolled through 3 or 4 pages and a couple of things stuck out:
1. I only recognized 1 or 2 of those names.
2. Many of them out zero stars out of five and most had 2 or 3. So these were lowly rated players for the most part, but they think another school might be the answer???

His older brother was a bit of a late bloomer and played DE his first year at Vandy. Might be the same for the younger. HS profile didn't have him very highly rated.

Yep and Steen was a good solid LT at Bama. One sack in two years is very solid.

Best thing about the portal is the late bloomer. Would love to see another Steen playing at the Capstone.

OL, along with QB, is the most difficult position to evaluate because of the mental and other intangible components of the position. So, HS evaluations often don’t mean much. How they’ve performed at the collegiate level easily trumps HS evaluations.

1200+ snaps in 2 years---gave up one sack last year. How many did he give up the prior year vs how many snaps?
