which SEC teams would you not pull for NC

Let me just clarify something for everyone who hates Tenn is worse than AU....

Your argument would be that it's UT's fault we got probation. Secret witnesses etc. HOWEVER, you are completely overlooking the fact that Aubie as a whole, tries to pull this crap all the time. 90% of any Aub board is trash about Bama. There are also unsupported rumors that they throw gasoline on in order to hurt Alabama (note Hoover).

At least UT has some sort of history/tradition.

Not only is AU uninformed on football, they lack tact.

I hate UT, but you CANNOT (as a rule of being an Alabama fan - should be the second thing you learned as a child that Aubie stinks, the first being that Bama is the best) root for AU, ever, ever EVER, period.

It will come to light how much you should have hated them, while they continually make up crap rumors. I've had fairly civil conversations with UT fans (even on this board), but never a Aubie.

Talibarn is worse than Vol-Qaeda

What he said. I'd never pull for either Auburn or Tennessee to win a national title...ever.

The viles and the barners for sure and I'm leaning that way towards LSwho. Their arrogance is getting kinda insufferable since Coach Saban made them relevant again in CFB. They act like winning championships is old hat for them when it's plainly NOT.

If auburn and ut were both playing each other, which they do on occassion, I always hope that 1 of these 2 things happens:

1) The earth opens up and swallows both teams whole.
or
2) ut loses and auburn's bus wrecks on the way home. (or vice versa)

To be honest, since the probation and all, I really have stopped pulling for other SEC teams. I know. I know. Pull for the conference. I guess I have just have too much disdain for other institutions. Sorry. Just how I feel.

I can always root for Vandy and Kentucky fairly easily, however. Must be the underdog syndrome.

Roll Tide!!

I agree with your point of view. Every big player in the SEC had a hand in our probation, UTs role was just the only one brought to light. Houston Nutt, Tubbs, Spurrier, Sherrill, Dinardo and Holtz all had their hands in the pot to get Bama slammed.

That's why I say forget the rest of the SEC. They all conspired to keep Bama down so they could get their 15 minutes of fame. :BigA:

I would pull for a communist government in the US before I would pull for Awbarn in a NC. I don't care WHO they played.

Oh thats strong. I admire that. But I hate communist just as much if not more then the barn.

Without a doubt, U frigging T!!!!!!

If they were playing some certain yankee and western teams I would NOT watch the game (could NOT stand to see either one win)!

actually, our coach at the time was Saban, ironic, huh?

So it was already ongoing? Just asking, I can't remember exactly when it all went down.

Yeah, the alleged violations occured, IIRC, during the 1998-1999 recruiting season. The other main culprits that brought in the NCAA besides fatty were Spurrier and Sherrill. Tubbs, Nutt and Dinardo just instigated the whole thing simply because they hated Bama.

Spurrier was mad at us because we spanked his butt twice during the 99 season, including a serious beatdown at the SECCG. He wrote a letter to the NCAA infractions committe claiming that Bama was a bunch of cheaters.

Sherrill got into it after the 2000 season because he was snubbed by Mal for the Bama job after Dubose was fired. I beleive he got some of his MSU recruits to sign affadavits or make statements that Bama had offered them and their coaches cash to come play at Bama.

Personally I'm glad Mal froze out Sherrill for the HC job in 2000. We all saw waht happened to him after that season.

I couldn't see myself pulling for Tennessee, despite southern pride.

Auburn would almost get a pity cheer from me. I suppose it would depend on who they're playing.

If AU was playing Notre Dame for the title, Auburn in a heart beat.

Oklahoma? Go Sooners.

no way in he!! would i ever pull for the dorks in lousyana...i was born and raised there (denham springs; just outside baton rouge)...i hate lsu more then the devil;

The rest is deleted
