Depends which recruiting service you favor. He is a four-star and the number 8th ranked team on rivals but is a three star and ranked the 100th best receiver on scout.

Bowman apparently made quite an impression at the Tuscaloosa Nike camp and a glance at this film shows he is a weapon. Wow, if KK commits as expected then our WR corp for the '09 class will be big, averaging 6'4.'' Not that height is everything but it helps.

I think his rating on Scout has to do with his academic issues but I'll let the experts confirm that.

From what I've read, the main reason UGA has not extended him an offer is because of his grades. The kid's obviously got great size and talent, but I'll feel a lot better when I actually see him suited up and on the sidelines at BDS, and not Hargrave or some junior college his freshman year...
