Politics: The Trump Impeachment Thread

A separate impeachment thread made sense while it was pending or ongoing, but now it seems like it might be just diluting the other conversations going on, making it harder to follow several at once. Would it be appropriate to shut this one down, kind of like a game thread? Post impeachment topics would still be appropriate on the Trump thread. Just a suggestion...

IDK. Usually, as long as a thread draws interest, we don't usually shut it down, unless it starts verging on violation site policies. I don't really think that this issue is burned out yet. Also, we probably tend a little too much sometimes to mega threads. In fact, we know that we lose some active members/readers because they're daunted by the length of the threads...
