There was a very good reason Saban did not want well connected insiders telling locker room stories about the team while he was coaching here. I wish our fan base would show DeBoer the same courtesy.

I saw a segment on tv recently on one of the sports networks. A good linebacker had a big money contract. He told how there were 18 or 20 players on his team that weren’t getting anything, so he gave them 2 thousand each… It was presented in the segment as a generous thing and not a way to buy...
