You're lucky. The vast majority in Tuscaloosa and Northport are not. College kids are still congregating in groups. -

Possibly, but for football season to happen, the teams must start practicing together at least a month (I believe) prior to the season starting. If basketball uses the same one month prep, you're talking a 2 - 3 month difference in start times, which could be doable. It's anybody's guess at this... -

What if you could setup a game ?
If it's just for the rivalry/nostalgia aspect, I'd go with Alabama vs. Ohio State. If I'm travelling to both games, I'm going with Hawaii vs. Miami. -

I don't see Belichick giving up enough to move up to #3 in the draft, especially since they don't have that many picks to choose from.
