If UGA is playing in the SECCG in Atlanta, it is a stretch to consider the Georgia Dome a neutral site. LSU has had to deal with that scene, and it ain't neutral. Nothing wrong with Atlanta as a site, but I do think it should rotate. If dome stadiums are a must, then let's go to New Orleans...

Good post. Your disdain for LSU is excused, as you have the impeccable, good sense to recognize that they are the clear champion this year. ;)

LSU fan here, I think the LSU fans that have a problem with Saban are small minded. If he would have left LSU and gone straight to a conference rival like Bama, then I could understand the bad feelings. But he left LSU for the pros, it didn't work out, and Bama came a calling. No big deal to me.

Football should be played on the outside and on real grass, but I guess those days are long gone and I'm way in the minority.

Immediately after the game, being interviewed on the field, Miles gave himself away by not knowing just how close LSU had come to letting the clock expire. He thought LSU still had 16 seconds to play with. I just can't see a savvy head coach standing there and watching Flynn run it down to 6...

LSU fan here, sadly I think your assessment is basically right. I was kind of hoping Miles would take the Michigan job, so LSU could have gone elsewhere for a HC. Who knows though, maybe this season will make him grow as a coach. His goofiness is kind of appealing in a way.

Maybe he didn't want the gatorade treatment and it was specified to his players. Does anybody else out there think this gatorade dousing of coaches is SILLY as hell and gone on long enough?? I bet the late Coach George Allen would agree.

I was a little afraid that Miles would do something goofy to blow the game last night, but he was under control. I will never forget him losing track of the time against Auburn this past year and almost blowing it. Starting to like the guy. I guess a national championship will do that to you.

Rotating between the Georgia Dome and the Louisiana Superdome seems the most interesting idea to me. Permanently having it in Atlanta seems a little boring and unimaginative to me.

Hi everybody, new guy here. I'm sure my topic has doubtless been discussed, but are y'all happy with Atlanta always seeming to be the host for the SECCG? Why not rotate? New Orleans, Birmingham, maybe Memphis ought to be good sites, too. Any thoughts?

Totally agree that UGA needs to let it go. Things ought to be a little extra intense when the Bulldogs come to Tiger Stadium next fall.
