What if... Just hear me out... What if Ole Miss wins this game, beats Miami, and makes it to the National Championship Game? And what if Lane Kiffin never wins a National Championship as a head coach? I might have just given myself a reason to root for Ole Miss this postseason...

This question cannot yet be truly answered. First, we need to know what offseason changes this season will produce. Second, we need to know what measure of improvement in key areas those changes will effect next season.

Good: Indiana. Ryan Williams showing up and showing improvement in key areas - having his best overall game of the year. Defensive start to the game. Bad: Offensive gameplan and playcalling. Offensive line play. Defense falling apart after being let down by a lack of offensive production...

Yes, seriously. The inaccuracy cost us a shot at a TD. The one good throw doesn't invalidate the negative of the other throws. Inaccuracy kills drives. Obviously, the coaches trusted an injured Ty more than Mack or Russell. That trust wasn't arbitrary...

Mack doesn't have much pocket presence...

He should have been getting some quality reps to make sure he was ready if Ty didn't heal quickly enough and/or got more injured. Of course, not giving the backup QB(s) quality reps was my biggest complaint about Saban, so what do I know?
