    I don't think the issue is "coaching" from a scheme/play calling standpoint. I think the issue is "coaching" in terms of physicality and identity.

    ESPN is all about generating clicks and engagement. When we missed the playoffs they were rage farming on our behalf. Now they’re throwing dirt on our grave. I’d take them with a grain of salt.

    I’m not saying he can’t play, to be clear. I’m saying I don’t believe his lack of paying time across three seasons and multiple regimes is some grand conspiracy. Why do you think he isn’t playing?

    I think he’ll try to rehab his image elsewhere where there’s less pressure and an offense built around him. I can’t imagine he’s drafted before the 4th round right now.

    I think he’ll he quietly shown the door and will transfer. He won’t be the QB next year.

    I mean the story of the game was turnovers in our own end — the game was basically decided in the first quarter when they scored 13 points on turnovers.

    He was 5 of 9 for 73 yards. Took 5 sacks. Agree the o-line stunk but I don’t see how you can use that game as evidence he can play. That game was basically Saban showing to everyone why he was playing Milroe.

    IMO if he could play we’d have seen him playing by now. Maybe. I just don’t buy the idea that CKD is sticking with Milroe out of stubbornness, loyalty, or because he’s an idiot. I think he has reason to think Milroe gave him the best chance to win.
