LSU starting safety Greg Brooks underwent surgery last week to remove a brain tumor, according to his family.

All that had been reported was that Brooks had experienced “a medical emergency” and his status had been listed as such. His grandmother confirmed he had undergone surgery for a brain tumor on Friday.

Prayers for Brooks. Twelve years ago I started with Vertigo, then a MRI revealed a brain tumor- it was noncancerous. Surgery and a long recovery with much rehab was successful. Hopefully he will have an even better result.
