Link: Former Tide Player Charles Bediako Sues NCAA (Injunction) to Return to Bama

Judge just denied continuing the TRO and he will not be eligible for the next game.
That stinks. Our team is going to go back to being really thin and talent poor on the inside unless Bristow can get healthy and look like he did against Illinois.

Hope Bediako can latch onto somewhere in a pro league and really develop. I was surprised he didn't really seem that much stronger versus when he left Bama the first time. He definitely needs to work on that and developing more skill to his offensive game as far as post moves.

NCAA President Charlie Baker released this statement:

"Common sense won a round today. The court saw this for what it is: an attempt by professionals to pivot back to college and crowd out the next generation of students. College sports are for students, not for people who already walked away to go pro and now want to hit the ‘undo’ button at the expense of a teenager’s dream. While we’re glad the court upheld the rules our members actually want, one win doesn't fix the national mess of state laws. It’s time for Congress to stop watching from the sidelines and help us provide some actual stability.”

No Feckless Prez Baker. Common sense dictated not allowing ANY player receiving compensation to play (by that very definition “professional”) in the college game. Don’t come to the podium and lecture the rank and file college basketball fans about “common sense” when your very organization caused this clown show by allowing professional players from international leagues eligibility. YOU and YOUR CRONIES at the NCAA screwed this thing up beyond all recognition. And the high school kids losing out on scholarship opportunities because of it lies at YOUR feet.
