Link: Former Tide Player Charles Bediako Sues NCAA (Injunction) to Return to Bama

We just played OU that just had multi year europro play center for them. Dumb or not, it’s a different world now.
Well, not anymore. The ruling is even dumber. If you are professional anywhere you should be able to play. The ruling benefits playing in another country. You can be pro multiple years and still go to college and have a full spread. That’s sad and I’ve always said that.

I guess sankey is all smiles this morning. He needs to be terminated asap.

Another Roy Kramer..

Btw..this is why I hate every other SEC school and couldn’t care less how they do against other teams.

This is for the “SEC SEC SEC!” crowd. You think they pull for us? They all hate us.

I’m an Alabama fan, not a SEC fan. 🐘

In reading some info put out by attorneys, it seems that the biggest issue in the case was that Chuck's representation didn't put a strong enough case forward. Essentially, their two arguments were easily answered and the judge had absolutely no choice but to deny it.

Honestly shocked that this happened if true. At the end of the day Bediako is the biggest loser in this ordeal. He seemed to be really enjoying being back on the team and competing with the guys.

There are good lawyers/agents and bad lawyers/agents...unfortunately Bediako had a bad one.

I don't see anything in those statements implying that "compensation" would be in the form of allowing him to rejoin the team. So theoretically Chuck wins the case and instead of being reinstated, he would be entitled to monetary damages???
Right. At the end, if he wins, he can sue them for damages. And like the nerds said, possibly substantial.

And I sure as hell hope he does

Agreed. Haven't been a fan of the conference since the 1990's, when the conference showed Alabama how much it cared for the legacy it built in the conference. Alabama built the SEC. Gave it prowess.
