It appears to me, early, that Trump thought this would be similar to capturing Maduro. Meaning if there is a slightest pushback by the enemy there is not much of a plan beyond that.
This is precisely the kind of move that may fracture Trump's remaining base support. If the MAGAs perceive we are taking hits we should not because of Trump's everything i do is perfect grandstanding then his support may quickly erode.
60% of the nation was already against him even before he started this. He has more latitude to flagrant policy. But the minute his decided to take foreign military action his margin of error became zero.

It is my understanding that China is the dominate supplier of rare earth magnets required for advanced radars for weapons systems. They have embargoed all exports for defense purposes. Remember in 1945 when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were ACTUALLY obliterated and just 9 months later everything was back to normal? Great times.
This should be 100% illegal, but big oil gets away with everything and is always price gouging us.
There is no way that, after a day, this war has somehow affected the price of gas already in the tanks at gas stations. These greedy, dirty companies instantly raise prices every time the wrong person farts in the wind, but they take months to lower them again.
