Braves should have put in Acuna so that he could have done something useful this year.

A split on the road in Arizona isn't bad. But when you win the first two it sure feels that way.

And we outscored them 25-10.

I knew the Braves were going to lose when Dubón grounded out in the top of the 10th because Auto Out Austin was up next.

Such a frustrating game. Offense managed to score 5 runs but stranded many more opportunities (2-14 with RISP, 10 LOB). Every time the Braves clawed back the bullpen immediately surrendered the lead.

Weiss pulls a “Snit” and leaves a struggling pitcher on the mound to blow the game open. That's probably enough for the Angels with Soriano on the mound. Just not smart baseball from our new manager.

Edit: And he left him out there for the 5th … single, then a HR. Now it’s a dumb move. It was obvious he was done 6 batters ago.

Braves gonna lose their 3rd straight. The good start to the year has quickly disappeared.

It’s early but based on last season and this year so far he might be our best or most consistent position player at the plate.

I’ll never understand why Acuna and Riley go so completely ice cold for such long stretches.

Both guys have All-Star talent.
Austin may be a pull hitter but they're treating him like the chump he's being. He's gonna have to start hitting the ball where it's pitched and stop swinging for the fences every pitch. Right now they know he'll pull a breaking ball into a weak ground to short. He reminds me of Javy Lopez and Javey's idiotic struggling because he was unable/unwilling to compensate.

Did no one watch last night?

Highlights
Riley actually had a good game
Acuna got a hit. but took until the 9th
Former Brave Jorge Soler hit a homer, got hit by a pitch, almost got hit again then almost got in an all out brawl with the Braves when he went after the pitcher Lopez.
Current manager Walt Weiss tackled Soler to prevent something much worse.

"Acuna got a hit."

:ROFLMAO: That made me laugh for some reason.

Yes, I watched. Entertaining game, snapped the losing streak, and hopefully we can take the series this afternoon.

The MMA fight in the 5th started exciting but fizzled quickly. Points given to Lopez for throwing punches with the ball in his hand. Weiss' textbook form on the tackle was nice. He should hold a seminar for SEC schools.

FYI, today's game is an afternoon special, 3:07 CDT.

Sadly Acuna got a hit is newsworthy.

Traveling this week and missed all the games.
Looks like we won the rubber match.
Everyone in the lineup got a hit except for Yaz.
Acuna with 2 doubles!
