I didn't get to go to the RCHS vs. Pisgah game, but I heard that Zeke Knight had a 42 yd punt return for a TD and also had a 35 yd. run on an end around. He also had 12 tackles on defense...RCHS won 35-7 and will travel to Red Bay for Friday night's game. Sad to say, but I will miss this game also.

I had the chance to see the 2nd half of the game. Knight is the real deal. I don't think I have ever seen a High School Player who has that much size and speed combined. This guy is a legit 6-3 or 6-4 220 and he has legit 4.5 speed. He broke 4 or 5 tackles on the punt return and then got into the open field and it was over. The only question is do you play him at reciever, line backer or safety. As thin as we are at WR I can see him getting his first look their. I also think he can contribute right away because of his size and his big frame. He is not your typical 6-3 180 lb. reciever. he is at least 220.I think we found a diamond in the rough in this guy.

What I hope is that they use him as a WR and return specialist, but they will probably bulk him up some more and use him as a DE or OLB...But, that's just my opinion.

Let's get a true WR coach and make this guy our version of Mike Williams(USC). Bama has to start making the transition with the rest of the league. Bigger receivers make it harder for the defense to sell out on the run. If he can't make it as a receiver...then we will have plenty of room for him at DE, TE, LB, etc.

What about safety like the guy from Miami(Taylor)?

From what I recall, CMS offense in Miami loved using the bigger receivers. This kid is a specimen. It would be sad to see him moved to a position that is already diluted with much talent (LB)!!

It's my understanding that he's supposed to get a long look at WR when he comes to Tuscaloosa. My only question is is he fast enough to play WR. I seem to recall his clocked time in the 40 is 4.66. That seems a little slow to play WR in the SEC. However, that may have been a misprint or maybe a bad timing. If Wr doesn't work out, he could be a TE or LB.

It doesn't matter how fast you are if they can't tackle you when they catch you! I saw him catch a 5-yard "out" pass during a game this year and run over the OLB, CB, and stiff-arm the safety to score a TD. Even if he is a little slower than some of the other receivers, after Ben Pollard gets him in the weight room I believe he will be much faster. I can't wait to see him play at BAMA!

We continue to talk about Zeke's speed, and I say again that this kid is the real deal. I saw him play earlier in the year and this kid is a monster, no matter what position he plays. I for one would like for CMS to give him a shot a WR. We haven't had WR with this much size at Bama. Everybody who has posted on his speed needs to remember that just a few years back we had a RB with 4.6 speed, and he turned out to be one of the greatest we have ever had at the Capstone. If you have drew a blank on who it is, just remember ole number 37 (SA).

Not to bust the bubble's of the posters before, but a Bama commit should and will make other high school players look that bad. When Zeke gets to the Capstone he'll be playing aginst a bunch of other all-staters.

It is my personal opinion that to compete in future SEC Championships, you are going to need WRs with sub 4.45 speed.
