    Conference Realignment Talk

I amspeculating that the numbers are based on the amount of alumni. The problem is, a lot of the alumni could care less about the football program at some schools.

News Article: Alabama football takes step for alcohol sales at Bryant-Denny

I don't and won't go to BD anymore. I like my beer and occasional Wild Turkey. I doibt that a beer will much less than $10 at BD. If I were going, I certainly would not pony up the $$. Heck, as someone has stated, I hate TO MISS A PLAY HAVING TO GO TO THE BATHROOM AND IT HACKS ME OFF AT...

    SEC West Predictions

"Desirable"? That may likely be a diminishing status with the continuous shenanagins going on in the later years. How many coaches from Power 5 schools would jump for joy to go to Auburn? Yes, several from Group of 5 would take the chance to improve their stature and get the big front end bucks.

    SEC West Predictions

I have similar feelings. I have made the mistake too many times of listening to the pundits say "how poorly awbarn will be" only to see them overachieve. However, I do not see them doing better than any other team in the west this year.

    SEC West Predictions

So, who do you think will have a worse record in the West?

    SEC West Predictions

I like your prediction but do not have confidence that Arkansas will go 9-3 with their schedule. Likewise, aTm will do better than your prediction (as bad as I hate to say it). I think it is a free for all betweeen Ole Miss, Arkie, LSU and aTm; each having ability to beat each other.

    SEC East Predictions

My question as well. I see Georgia going 12-0 and Bama as well. I believe TN and FLA are getting too much ink and expect KY to finish 2nd in the east.

Glad to see you bring this back to the OL discussion as the thread is intended.

    Conference Realignment Talk

They did say football fans right? It makes me wonder. If you ask many of the BB fans if they are fan of football, they most likely would say yes, IMO. So, thaqt might explain the ranking of UCLA, Duke, UNC.

    Conference Realignment Talk

Exactly my impressions as to the "unbelievable" claim.. UCLA higher than USC? Of course, any survey can find incorrect conclusions depending on the criteria which I never saw any explanation.

I like your picks, but doubt USCe can pull it off.

    Conference Realignment Talk

https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/first-and-10-the-complete-bitter-backstory-of-how-college-football-ended-up-on-the-brink/ An interesting article about how we got to this point in the writers opinion. I cannot help but believe he is on target with much of his claims.

    Conference Realignment Talk

I agree. I do think there is still a good probability they will find a way to join the SEC earlier than the 2025 date they are bound to currently.

UCLA and USC WILL Join the B1G in 2024

Dennis Dodd may be the one in the know, but sitting pat right now is not what I would describe the SEC doing. I expect there will plenty of backroom discussions about the next 4 teams to be added to the SEC and plenty of "burner phone calls". PAC 12 and Big 12 and ACC are all running scared...

The Big 12 decided to make a run at staying alive while the ACC is sitting on their hands making Clemson fans uneasy.

UCLA and USC WILL Join the B1G in 2024

https://www.uhnd.com/football/2022/07/04/is-acc-membership-better-for-notre-dame-football-than-b1g-mega-conference/ This is another one slant on Notre Dame from an Irish writer. What if the ACC gets ND first? It is not impossible since they have already become business friendly.

UCLA and USC WILL Join the B1G in 2024

Point well taken. After further review, I agree that North Carolina and Virginia are the most feasible targets for the SEC. As for clempson, fsu and miami coming in the picture; who else would you go for to kepp pace with the BIG? In my humble opinion, they will as good or better picking than...
