    End zone pass interference call...

I will always complain when the officiating doesn't appear to be consistent. Bad call on the other team, I can objective, and accept that they have a complaint. When I see one go against us, I look at it and say "balances out, after the earlier bad call". Doesn't mean 2 bad calls make a...

Benefits of new Strength and Conditioning Program

Yes, and of course, Forristall is too. And he got banged up early, might have impacted that one third down where he outrun his route. No idea there, but he did come in and play meaningful football the rest of the game.

When shall we let go Pete Golding?

The defense is taking on that look of "bend" but don't break. Well, they have certainly been bent all to hell and back. But, as others said, we keep on scoring, almost at will. Our athletes on defense, and just the junk nature of the rest of the offenses we face, means we are going to...

Benefits of new Strength and Conditioning Program

Man. I didn't know we had that level of injury. Both of those are desperately needed. I don't know if they can go against UT, but we will need them every defensive snap. Maybe my analysis, per usual, was a bit off.

    End zone pass interference call...

Especially in Jordan Hare. As good as many think the game was called on Saturday, that clock management by officials right before the half, ruining the whole effort, especially had we not gotten the chance. He rushed the kicker, and really the whole play. He set that ball down, got that...

    End zone pass interference call...

    But, did Herschel Bolden?

Benefits of new Strength and Conditioning Program

I don't really want to talk about S&C and injuries, because I know it will jinx us. But, GASP, we seem more durable. Ok, I take that back immediately.

    End zone pass interference call...

Bingo. They quit the game at that point. Kirby was urging them into the locker room, and they were happily going. The officials were even trying to hurry the clock back up, not initially allowing us our 3 seconds. It’s still surprising to me that UGA didn’t score again, but I shouldn’t be...

    End zone pass interference call...

Agree with the call. Defensive player was man-handling our receiver. But, I have a question. Just this season, I’ve noticed the official wording of the PI call as being “Pass Interference against an eligible receiver, number xx”. What was the reasoning behind adding that language?

    Game Thread: Kentucky @ Thirteenessee

That big old contract extension for Pruitt just seems really short sighted now, says Captain Obvious. Not just because he hasn’t really proved anything in the short time he’s been there. But even more, in 2020, just tacky as hell, to give a low life like Pruitt that much money, when the public...

Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama vs. UGA...

I think we can absolutely bludgeon Tennessee, unless they come out with some miraculous QB no one even knew about, prior to the game. I don’t see it. If your team doesn’t have lights out QB play, you won’t stay with Alabama. At all. Early score prediction based on Saturday: Bama 55...

Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama vs. UGA...

I have never been so wrong about a game. I was one of those eeyore’s that saw no real way to win. I bought in that UGA defense was legit and could contain our passing game. I didn’t think we would be able to establish the run to take pressure off Mac. Man, I just hate myself. Glad I didn’t...

Nick Saban tests positive for Covid (Update! Third test negative!)

He doesn't say anything that isn't untrue. But, he's a UGA grad. It's hardly an objective opinion he has formed from inarguable facts :D.

JessN: Georgia preview: Bama already had a tough task before Saban's illness

I get you. We all have a ton of faith and hope in how Bama plays. But, we do like an objective opinion too, some times :D . Jess is giving a pretty objective opinion, and I share it. As much as I'll be watching and hoping and believing we will find a way, the stats don't look good right now...

JessN: Georgia preview: Bama already had a tough task before Saban's illness

Great review, Jess, as always. To the point, I asked you a couple weeks ago when the last time was that you picked the underdog to win, when the underdog wasn't Alabama. And here it is. To say that UGA is an underdog has been tough for me, anyway, even though Vegas has given Bama anywhere...

Nick Saban tests positive for Covid (Update! Third test negative!)

Damn. That's gonna hit some UGA fans hard, when it happens. Combine that with the Braves getting pummeled by the Dodgers last night (and assuming LA turns the series and wins it), this is going to be a bad week in Georgia. That's a lot of assumptions for sporting events that haven't happened yet.

Ole Miss is dealing with COVID-19

The news just travels so fast nowadays. Things always seem uncertain and unclear, when news breaks this quickly. Often, we see revisions and confirmations of news after the fact, and the story becomes totally opposite of what we thought from the first information we got.

Florida - LSU game in Jeopardy due to Covid Outbreak at Florida

They totally had way over the league mandated number of people. I'm sure he knows that crowd makes a difference. Not going to matter if the game isn't going to be played now, in the first place.

    State of Alabama defense

Well said. Again, this week, this game, no big changes, other than keeping our defensive guys more "in their lanes", and pick and choose when to blitz. But teams know they can pick on what we have been doing in the secondary. Honestly, I'm not as concerned about UGA's offense against our...

    State of Alabama defense

Yeah, it might not be necessary to revert to handling man to man only, with a dedicated spy this week against UGA. Night and day different from what Ole Miss brought. Might not have another offense left on the schedule like that. But, I do expect some teams to try and implement the hurry...
