Link: CBS 2:30pm Game, but no Nessler/Danielson/Dell

I think this is more CBS taking a dig at the SEC since we decided not renew our deal with them. They are Big 10 partners moving forward.

Was the hit on Travis Hunter Worthy of Ejection?

Honestly, it reminded me of the hit Mo Lewis gave Drew Bledsoe that launched Brady's career. It was a pretty big impact, but not some crazy, out of the ordinary hit. But Bledsoe ended up with a lung injury (I think) that had him out for a month. I didn't think it was any more violent than...

Your Favorite Tider of All Time and Why

Can't pick just one. Shaun Alexander - was in school the same time as he was, so he defined my Bama college football experience. Great runner, very humble, super nice guy. He was in my geology class as a freshman and I had him sign my text book when he broke the school single game rushing...

UAB's Bill Clark stepping down due to health concerns

Hate to see this. He was a really good coach and still had a lot of good years in front of him. Hope he gets healed up!

Coach Saban goes off on programs buying players (A&M, Jackson State, and Miami mentioned)

Jealousy may be part of it. My guess is that there is some personal issue between the two that Jimbo has been stewing on for years and this just happened to be what set him off.

Coach Saban goes off on programs buying players (A&M, Jackson State, and Miami mentioned)

While this is an interesting stat, it should be noted that not all rich folks in Texas necessarily want to give money to college athletes. And not all wealthy Alabama Alumni live in Alabama. In fact, Auburn has a fairly wealthy alum that lives out in Palo Alto, CA.... Point being that while...

So Who Are Some of Your Favorites From This Year's Team...

BRob. No frills, knocks people down, gets up and does it again. Will Anderson. Great leader, love his intensity. LaBryan Ray. Could have given up 100 times, but kept working and is getting in some good playing time this year. Happy for him. Trey Sanders. Same reason as Ry. Overcame lots...

Question: Should Kirby have used JT Daniels in the SEC Championship Game?

Agreed. I don't think he's healed enough to be able to play effectively.

    Josh Heupel to Oklahoma?

A couple of guys from The Athletic (Feldman and Staples, I think) both indicated on their respective podcasts that the relationship between OU and Heupel and specifically Stoops and Heupel is strained at best. Very unlikely that they would try to hire him.

SEC Shorts - SEC teams line up to claim their “L”

Uh, this was the first time I have turned on CC and it was well worth it. Thanks for the tip!

Add any past Bama player to this year's roster

Jonathan Allen. Nasty dude, great leader, super disruptive. Would give us the best pass rush in the nation and would help the secondary.

    Heisman Conversation

If there was ever a year that a defensive players going to win it, this is the year. You can make a case for Will Anderson and Jordan Davis. They are probably the two best players in the country on either side of the ball.

Paying former coaches to not coach.

What's keeping you from BHG stadium this weekend?

Had not planned to go, but I'll be spending Saturday at the same place I spend almost every game weekend: at my Uncle's house watching with he and my cousin. That will be bookended by yard work and dinner with friends. These friends are UGA fans, so I will no doubt have to sit through the UGA...

Texas A&M Relationship With the SEC

The reporter is the Texas A&M beat writer for the Houston Chronicle. I think its safe to say he got his information from someone at Texas A&M. Frankly, I don't care about the relationship A&M has with the SEC. If they are not happy, let them leave. Lots of other teams would be happy to take...

Do You Want Oklahoma And Texas To Join The SEC?

I vote yes. Adding two more good teams to the conference would hopefully improve the quality of the schedule played. Better for playoff resume and better for the fans.

    NIL kills Fan Day

Was this decision based on NIL or still a holdover from covid, given vaccination rates and the delta variant?
